Sinead gives up girl Irish singer Sinead O'Connor will grant her former companion, John Waters, custody of their daughter, Roisin, two. "I'm not a bad mother. That's not why I am giving up custody," O'Connor said. She said last month she would take Waters to court after he accused her of mistreating the girl in a bid, she says, to gain custody. Social workers had followed up the reports, visiting the home where O'Connor, 33, lived with Roisin and another child, aged 11, from a previous marriage. Authorities later confirmed no charges were pending against the singer for child abuse. "I've been a good mother to Roisin and John Waters accepts this," O'Connor said.
