Sinéad
O’Connor and James Carter Land Among
‘Best of
2000’ in Time
Dec 14, 2000
Time magazine gets props all over
the world, so
scoring among it’s ‘Best of 2000’
picks, well that’s
no small potatoes. No it’s more
like pumpkins on
steroids. So we are very happy to
announce that
venerated Irish singer/songwriter
Sinéad O’Connor, as
well as jazz virtuoso James Carter,
have both made it
onto Time’s top ten of 2000 music
roundup!
Sinéad scored thanks to her
recent
FAITH AND COURAGE
release, an album hailed by the
likes of Rolling Stone
as ‘the Sinéad album you've
been wanting for years.’
Carter’s praise was generated by
his dual releases:
CHASIN’ THE GYPSY and LAYIN’
IN THE CUT, the former
more jazzy, the other more fiercely
funky. To learn
more about either artist, or to
hear clips from their
albums hit up Sinéad or Carter’s
artist pages.
