   Sinead O'Connor: I do not want what I haven't got (Ensign). Her Prince single
''Nothing Compares 2 U'' has been the highlight of this year's singles charts,
and the album doesn't disappoint. There's a harshness to O'Connor's dramas, with
strong strains of Irish folk and fuzzed punk guitar informing a rare personal
and political directness. Few concessions to fashion, and all highly
recommended.
